Topic: Expand All, Collapse All - Toolspace

So I have gone and hit CNTRL + A while my toolspace is open and ALL of the components for each drawing have expanded as far as can be. Does anyone know of a fast way to collapse all of these at once? (this isn't the first time, or the last time I will do this  ) I'm pretty sure I've seen this before I just don't remember where. I can collapse each drawing title but once you expand it again all of the components are expanded. And yes, closing out would probably put them back, just looking for a possible solution.

Sure DanB, what you will  want to do is this:


To EXPAND all Entries you click on the Drawing name in the TOOLSPACE >>Prospector Tab and hit CTRL+A
result:all entries expand

Then to close you click on the selection TOOLSPACE >>Prospector Tab and hit CTRL+A
Active Drawing View, and then hit CTRL+A
result: they all collapse

This seems to work on prospector tab,  it doesn't appear to work in the SETTINGS TAB of the TOOLSPACE.

I have tried this with several variations (Active Drawing/Master View) but they still do not collapse? I have just successfully crashed so no worries now, they will all be back to "normal." Thanks for the reply.

I think I found something.

If many "tree" components have been expanded:

ToolSpace > Master View (not sure if this matters) > select "Open Drawings" > Cntrl + Left Arrow > this should collapse all components

edit: also Cntrl + Right Arrow will expand mulitple components...be carefull

As stated, this works on the PROSPECTOR tab, NOT the Settings Tab.

Click Drawing name...CTL+A, expands all entries
Click (master or drawing view) let it REMAIN hi lighted CTRL+A closes all entries.

This same effect is not seen on Settings Tab, because you know "consistency" across the interface is the big thing you here hyped all the time.  However this behavior, is due to inconsistency of the interface.
